LIKEaBIKE - The Original Kids Wooden Bikes

LIKEaBIKE is exactly that, like a bike, but with no pedals, a children's wooden bike for young boys and girls from the ages of two to five.

We believe that normal kid's bikes STOP them learning to ride. At age two very few children are able to pedal so quickly get disillusioned and often don't touch their bike. Later when they've learned to pedal, they can't balance so need stabilisers which they rapidly come to depend on for their confidence.

LIKEaBike turns this completely upside down. Take away the pedals and stabilisers and within days the same two year old will have learned to balance, gaining confidence from having feet on the ground. Within no time they are whizzing along, free, mobile, active and above all happy.

LIKEaBIKE - Special, Smaller & Larger Models

Kokua expanded it's range during the course of 2007 to include shorter and taller models to cope with the demand for running bikes from both smaller and bigger people. There are now LIKEaBIKE models with saddle heights all the way from 27cm to 65 cm to suit children from 20 months to 10 years of age.

We feel that the bigger models hold particular interest as a balance/co-ordination aid for children with special needs.

Zooom Balance Bike by Ridgeback

We are very pleased to announce that we have expanded our range of children's balance bikes adding the Zoom manufactured by Ridgeback. Until now we have resisted the tempation to offer anything other than the original LIKEaBIKE children's balance bike, knowing that the design and quality of the cheaper offerings always left much to be desired.

However, Ridgeback is the first mainstream bike maker to come up with a LIKEaBIKE look-alike and unlike all the other wannabees we've seen this one both looks the part and the build quality is superb. Also known as Scoot, the Adventure Zooom may lack some of the refinements of the LIKEaBike Jumper but it offers great value.

Springfree Trampoline

As parents, we've all looked at trampolines and thought 'great fun but these things are dangerous, how long before I'm taking my child to A&E?'

We are very happy to have added Springfree's range of trampolines to our portfolio of exclusive products. They are designed with safety uppermost in mind and have successfully eliminated all of the dangerous elements of a traditional steel-sprung trampoline, allowing parental peace-of-mind. Without creaking springs they are much quieter plus with no springs they don't need to be as big, meaning you can get more trampoline in your space - the 12' Springfree has the same bounce area as a normal 14' trampoline.

The perfect companion to the LIKEaBIKE range, these stunning German-made products combine sculptural design, robust construction and 'must-have' good looks.

Created for toddlers aged from 12 months onwards, Stunning SIBI toys are built using laminated ash or birch ply and solid ash. Tough enough to withstand anything the terrible twos can throw at them but at the same time seriously stylish and imaginatively designed. These toys are made to have fun with.

SIBIs are made in Bavaria by Sirch, a woodworking company established in 1805, most famous for making beautiful traditional wooden sleds.

	Sirch, the German home of SIBIs has a long tradition of making sledges and toboggans stretching back 150 years. They have now created a fusion of modern lines and traditional craftsmanship - the Abyss range of racing sledges beautifully moulded and crafted from solid ash. Who cares if it snows - these look great even in the summer!

Micro Aluminium Scooters

Micro is the Swiss company that invented the modern aluminium scooter concept and continues to be market leaders with products of the highest quality. Micro have just released their new Mini Light two-wheeler that is the perfect starter scooter for 3-8 year-olds and we at Helemill are happy to be the first UK stockist. With a lowered deck, adjustable handlebar and a choice of subtle pastel colours, this has to be the first choice for the balance-aware parent and child.
