LIKEaBIKE - The Original Kids Wooden Bikes

LIKEaBIKE is exactly that, like a bike, but with no pedals, a children's wooden bike for young boys and girls from the ages of two to five.

We believe that normal kid's bikes STOP them learning to ride. At age two very few children are able to pedal so quickly get disillusioned and often don't touch their bike. Later when they've learned to pedal, they can't balance so need stabilisers which they rapidly come to depend on for their confidence.

LIKEaBike turns this completely upside down. Take away the pedals and stabilisers and within days the same two year old will have learned to balance, gaining confidence from having feet on the ground. Within no time they are whizzing along, free, mobile, active and above all happy.

LIKEaBIKE - Special, Smaller & Larger Models

Kokua has expanded it's range during the course of 2007 to include shorter and taller models to cope with the demand for running bikes from both smaller and bigger people. There are now LIKEaBIKE models with saddle heights all the way from 27cm to 65 cm to suit children from 20 months to 10 years of age.

We feel that the bigger models hold particular interest as a balance/co-ordination aid for children with special needs.

SIBIs - Rockers, Ride-ons & Pushalong Toys

The perfect companion to the LIKEaBIKE range, these stunning German-made products combine sculptural design, robust construction and 'must-have' good looks.

Created for toddlers aged from 12 months onwards, Stunning SIBI toys are built using laminated ash or birch ply and solid ash. Tough enough to withstand anything the terrible twos can throw at them but at the same time seriously stylish and imaginatively designed. These toys are made to have fun with.

SIBIs are made in Bavaria by Sirch, a woodworking company established in 1805, most famous for making beautiful traditional wooden sleds.

They have come up with two entirely new takes on the adjustable high chair and cot, re-defining the concepts with products that can adapt to the changing needs of a growing child, whilst retaining a modern design that will grace any interior.

Micro Aluminium Scooters

Micro is the Swiss company that invented the modern aluminium scooter concept and continues to be market leaders with products of the highest quality. Micro have just released their new Mini Light two-wheeler that is the perfect starter scooter for 3-8 year-olds and we at Helemill are happy to be the first UK stockist. With a lowered deck, adjustable handlebar and a choice of subtle pastel colours, this has to be the first choice for the balance-aware parent and child.
