Next Day Delivery Service & Stock Policy
CURRENT PROMOTION - FREE SHIPPING TO ANY UK MAINLAND ADDRESS FOR ALL ORDERS WORTH £60 OR MORE
Our aim is to get your order to you on a next working day basis whereby as long as you place your order before 14:00, Monday to Friday, we will despatch same day for delivery to you the following working day. We can arrange Saturday deliveries if the need is very urgent and justifies the extra cost - please call us for a quote.
Although we are an internet company, we try to operate just like a normal shop. We don't rely on third parties to hold stock and then 'drop-ship', as it is known, upon receipt of an order. We believe that this only leads to a lack of control and therefore, dissatisfied customers. We hold extensive stock of all the items shown on the website in our own storage facilities. If it says on the product page , 'Add to Basket', it genuinely is in stock. In the unlikely event that an item is shown as in stock but is not available, we will call you immediately to discuss the options.
For UK Mainland weekday deliveries we use Fedex, one of only a handful of 'premium service providers' and to provide this service we charge a flat rate of £6.00. Fedex's policy is to attempt to deliver to your designated address and if they find no-one in they will leave a card through your door with details of how to contact your local depot to re-arrange the delivery. Of course we will be happy to send your order to a work address if you prefer.
