LIKE-a-BIKE Mountain Maxi is the Mountain's biggest brother that has been specially designed for older/larger children or small adults who haven't yet learned to balance or who prefer a running bike to one with pedals. It has particular appeal as a balance and co-ordination training aid for older kids with special needs.
It has a 7 position adjustable seat range from 47cm to 65cm with a maximum weight load of 70Kg. Like the standard Mountain, it has a hard-wearing, lacquered pale birch ply frame with textile padded seat cover in either blue or red handlebar grips. The matching wooden wheels of the LIKE-a-BIKE Junior are alloy rimmed with sealed cartridge bearing hubs for smooth and silent running on their 16" Schwalbe Big Apple pneumatic, puncture-resistant, non-marking tyres.
The Maxi is a scaled-up version of the Mountain with same shape, look and feel, just larger - however this means that the accessories available for the normal-sized LIKEaBIKEs won't fit the junior.
LIKE-a-BIKE Maxi comes mostly assembled, with just the front wheel and handlebars needing to be fitted - a 10 minutes job for a competent DIY'er.
